Rita and Inês met in college more than 20 years ago, never imagining that one day they would join forces to create a brand that would redefine wedding design in Portugal.

In Love Weddings was born during a period when the corporate market was in decline, and both realized that weddings — especially destination weddings — offered enormous creative potential and few true references.

They began by strategically developing conceptual projects and soon gained visibility on renowned blogs such as Simplesmente Branco. Before long, collaboration requests from wedding planners started to pour in — and so began an adventure that, over the years, evolved into a benchmark for graphic design and wedding stationery in Portugal.

Their background in Industrial Design shaped the way they approach every project. It’s not just about paper — they think about materials, finishes, ergonomics, functionality, and, above all, the complete guest experience. Every detail communicates, and for Rita and Inês, design is the art of connecting all the dots in a coherent, sensory, and surprising way.

In Love Weddings’ work is defined by the balance between creativity and precision. From invitations inspired by films to personalized pet illustrations, décor elements, signage, and visual experiences, each project is designed to turn the ordinary into the extraordinary. They love exploring unexpected textures and typography, creating pieces that are true expressions of art.

Working with international couples and diverse cultures is a constant source of inspiration. They research, learn, and collaborate closely with wedding planners to ensure that every detail respects the couple’s identity and cultural background. For them, design is always personalized, intentional, and memorable.

Beyond stationery and graphic pieces, Rita and Inês recently expanded the In Love universe with ALLOCO, a rental brand that blends design, decoration, and tablescape experiences. This initiative allows them to offer an even more cohesive and immersive experience for events, while preserving their refined and creative touch.
